Ingredients
- 2 C Pinto Beans (cooked from dried or rinsed from can)
- 2 TBS Taco Seasoning (see note below to make your own)
- 2 TBS Juice from pickled jalapeños
- 1 TBS Nutritional yeast (optional)
- Chopped pickled jalapeños to taste

Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Add pickled jalapeños to desired hotness.
- Adding a tablespoon of nutritional yeast gives it a cheese flavor while adding a boat-load of the B vitamins. Process after each additional ingredient.
- Place in a bowl and serve with tortilla chips.
Recipe Notes
To make your own taco seasoning combine the following ingredients and store in an air-tight container.
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
